deadCENTER Hits Tulsa with Free Film Seminar

The deadCENTER Film Festival, Oklahoma’s largest film festival and one of the “20 Coolest Film Festivals in the World,” is partnering with the Circle Cinema in Tulsa (10 South Lewis Avenue, Tulsa Oklahoma) to present a FREE film seminar for high school student students and older.

THE SEMINAR WILL INCLUDE:

WRITING   – Creating Ideas for a Movie, Pitching Concepts, Writing Screenplays

FILM EQUIPMENT  - Camera Demonstration, Sound and Lighting Demonstration, Professional Vs. Consumer Options

ACTING – Acting Exercises, Acting on Camera, Auditioning for Films

PRODUCTION – Film Production Process, Crew Positions and Departments, Festivals and Distribution

All classes will be led by deadCENTER Executive Director Lance McDaniel, Festival Programmer Kim Haywood and working Oklahoma filmmakers. 

Attendance is FREE but limited. First come, first serve.

The deadCENTER Film Festival is in its 14th year of bringing quality independent films to Oklahoma and providing a nationally recognized platform for local filmmakers to share their work. Next year’s festival takes place June 11-15, 2014, in downtown Oklahoma City.
