We've selected approximately 100 films to screen this year at the 15th Annual deadCENTER Film Festival. All screenings will take place Wednesday, June 10 through Sunday, June 14 at our venues in downtown Oklahoma City.
Submissions included comedies, dramas, documentaries and short films from Oklahoma and around the world, and broke festival records.
We're thrilled to see a record eight feature films produced in Oklahoma make the cut. This is in no small part due to the huge impact on the growth of the film industry here in Oklahoma by our great universities and our state rebate program.
More than 25,000 people attended deadCENTER Film Festival screenings in 2014, and generated an economic impact of approximately $2.1 million for Oklahoma City. We're excited to do it again!
Indoor venues include the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, Devon Energy Auditorium, Harkins Theatres Bricktown, and the Terrace Room at Myriad Botanical Gardens.
All Access passes are available here for $150 ($75 for students), and give you priority admission to every film, party, panel, and special event. Individual tickets may be purchased for $10 at the door 20 minutes prior to each screening.
We're also bringing back our free outdoor screenings at the The Great Lawn at Myriad Botanical Gardens Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Screenings start after dark (9:30 pm), so bring a blanket, chair, and a friend!
There truly is something for everyone this year at deadCENTER. We'll see you in June!
