Through the Pat Presents Oklahoma Student Film Contest, students will have the chance to win new camera equipment, signed Pat Patterson memorabilia and passes to deadCenter Film Festival. One grand prize winner will also have the opportunity to have their film screened at the Festival in June. The first round of judging will be performed by the deadCenter team with Patterson and a few of his celebrity friends selecting finalists and winners.

“I’m a huge film fan and I love sharing that passion with the Oklahoma community,” said Patterson. “Hosting this short film contest with deadCenter allows me to honor rising filmmakers and give them the platform to showcase their work.”

The short-film contest is open to all students currently enrolled in an Oklahoman high school, tech center, college, or university. Submission for the contest open December 1, 2018. Finalists will be announced on February 1, 2019, and screenings of select films taking place on Sunday, February 24 at Harkins Bricktown Cinemas. All submissions are required to be 12 minutes or less and must have been produced after January 1, 2017.
